Fayetteville FireAntz Player Spotlights
A STAFF REPORT
One of the Antz's toughest players, Rivait was
second in scoring among FireAntz defensemen
last season as a rookie. He scored 16 points and
was plus-5 for the season. Prior to turning pro,
Rivait played four seasons at SUNY-Oswego.
Rivait is from Kingsville, Ontario. His favorite
NHL team is the Toronto Maple Leafs and his
favorite player is Wendel Clark. He enjoys golf,
beach volleyball and tennis. Fun fact: he is bilin-
gual in French and English.
Thompson scored 23 points for Fayetteville last
season as a rookie but was -3 in plus/minus rat-
ing. He played in all 56 regular season games and
contributed three points in five playoff games. In
his last season of junior hockey, Thompson scored
61 points in 52 games, then added 10 more in 12
playoff contests. His favorite movie is Star Wars, he
loves sushi and fishing, and enjoys listening to '50s
and '60s music.
Drobot, the team's enforcer, scored four points
last season in his return from a knee injury in
2014-15. That said, he was one of only three Antz
players to compete in all 56 regular-season games.
He's amassed 215 penalty minutes in his time in
Fayetteville. Drobot's hometown is Calgary, Alberta,
and his favorite team is the Calgary Flames. His
favorite TV show is Breaking Bad. He enjoys eating
steak and lobster. His hobbies include working out
and hiking.
