Jenny is the Faye eville Area Conven on and Visitors Bureau (FACVB) staff member who manages not only the FACVB calendar, but also submits Cumberland County event informa on to travel publica ons, website travel promoters and local and regional calendars and websites. Jenny's work allows us to do event placements on behalf of a rac ons that do not have staff to dedicate to this task. Prior to Jenny joining the team in August of 2015, a FACVB staff member worked on event calendars as part of another posi on. Jenny's role is exclusively dedicated to event promo on. The results of her dedicated efforts are impressive. In comparing event coverage in the first eight months of the 14/15 fiscal year to this year, she's secured a 191% increase in event placements! In 2014, the FACVB secured 755 event placements; Jenny's efforts skyrocketed that number to 2,200.
