The Fayetteville Ladies Power Lunch is dedicated to motivating and
empowering women from all walks of life. These casual and friendly gatherings
are specifically themed and focused on INSPIRING, EDUCATING,
EMPOWERING and CELEBRATING the women of Fayetteville, Ft. Bragg and
Cumberland County.
Since 2010, the FLPL has empowered successful women throughout our
community, meeting quarterly to listen and learn from inspirational keynote
speakers while having fun meeting and socializing with new friends, shopping
and networking with peers, at the same time supporting each other and
various local causes.

Kidsville News Literacy and Education Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit
organization that provides funding assistance for reading and educational
resources to be provided at "no charge" to children grades K–6. Since 1998,
Kidsville News! has been distributed to all elementary school children in
Cumberland and Hoke Counties.
On MAY 12, 2016, the FLPL welcomes the
talented and vibrant Lorna Ricotta, an
accomplished singer, small business owner,
community advocate, and higher education
administrator. Lorna was our Miss North Carolina
in the 2000 Miss America Pageant and won the
Bert Parks talent award. She currently serves as
executive director for the FTCC Foundation and is
a member of the President's Senior
Administration. Lorna brings us a wealth of inspirational,
educational and empowering knowledge.
