The condensed version of the almost 2.5 hour meeting and actions they took are as follows: Approved 2-month contract of Judge Lawrence King. Tabled bid discussion until documents are complete. Presentation by D.L. Wilson of La Paz Focused Future Economic Development. Presentation by ACE Solar System explaining Quartzsite���s 3 solar awards from APS. Approved Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for 1900 gal. propane tank and RV dump at Shell Station. Denied CUP for Lois Chiles Therapeutic Touch Therapy in home. Approved Variance for 100 ft. December 5, 2012 Monopole for AT&T at 41 W. Main. Approved 5 ft. Variance for setting garage/carport for Louis Stan Carlson. Approved moving Dec. 25th meeting to Fri. Dec. 21st 9am. Appointed Council members Jewitt and Crooks as liaison with Manager and Risk Pool. Denied changing council meeting time to 7pm (remains the same; 2nd & 4th Tues. at 9am). Tabled voting on having Public Comments until more info received from City of Gilbert, AZ. Denied changing Code regarding Bidding for service (remains the same). Denied repeal of Code regarding Town Attorney Duties (remains the same). Approved Promotional funds: $4,000 each to Senior Center, Historical Society and Business Chamber of Commerce.
