It's All About The Love That She Has For Children It's All About The Love That She Has For Children Mary Pass, Program Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland County, is definitely one of a kind. Ray Hurley, Executive Director, says: "Mary is a great asset to the program and brings years of experience and knowl- edge to the club. She is a strong motivator and has an excellent connection with the parents. She's ideal." This is the lady that is never in her office. She is always involved in doing something with the kids. She loves the kids and it shows. It was Bill Hooker of the United Way campaign who got Mary Pass to join the Boys and Girls Club. This is an amazing lady. The great influence in her life is Mother Teresa. One of Mother Teresa's famous quotes is: "Intense love does not measure, it just gives." Giving is what Mary Pass does best. She always gives of herself and utilizes her talents to help others. She is the oldest of seven children, born and raised in Shelby, married to Cal Pass, Jr. who is currently the girls basketball coach at Shelby High School. He is also the physical education teacher. Both their children, Aja and Cal are now grown. She embraces on a daily basis, the saying which her dad, Clyde Price gave her when she told him she wanted to be a missionary: "You need to be a missionary in your own town". That she is. Just ask anyone who knows her. How fortunate the children and parents of the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland County are to have such a great asset as Mary Pass. – M. A. He said he has a quarter acre of them, growing from seed, at his home. One of these measured twenty-six inches in circumference and weighed five pounds, and are some of the biggest we've even seen. When asked what he did to make them grow so big, Larry said "We prayed over them!" –M. A. Andrews 2 Doubles $ 249 349 814 S.
