Mayor Nat Robertson wel- comes Best of Fayetteville winners and guests to the celebration. (right) On Sept. 16, 350 people attended Up & Coming Weekly's 17th Annual Best of Fayetteville Awards party at It'z Entertainment City. Wow! What a party! Everyone was excited and anxious to find out who would be named Fayetteville's "Best of the Best." Master of Ceremonies, Mac Edwards and WKML's star radio personality Don Chase of Beasley Broadcasting, co-hosted the celebration to an exhilarated, standing-room- only crowd. Fayetteville Mayor Nat Robertson, Cumberland County Commissioner Ed Melvin and Fayetteville Regional Chamber of Commerce President Doug Peters warmly welcomed and congratulated the winners and their guests. Oh, what a cel- ebration it was. To paraphrase the winners' comments "... This is what Fayetteville is really all about. The best people, businesses and organizations that superbly combine service, quality and integrity to define the Fayetteville, Fort Bragg and Cumberland County community." Below are just a few of the event highlights. For more, visit us on Facebook or check out our website at www.upandcomingweekly.com.
