SCHOLARS’ BOARD MEMBERS ASSIST PRESCHOOL Quartzsite, AZ - We have all heard the saying,”They went above and beyond the call of duty”. Scholars Board members T. C. Collier and Kevin Cushman. along with Susan Cushman, did just that. The Cushmans had already added an addition to the preschool fence in order to meet the State guidelines for square footage. After a visit to the site by a State license person, another part of the existing fence needed additional adjustments. The Cushmans, along with Mr. Collier worked several hours to fi x the fence. The door to the Preschool had also blown open on the day of the State person’s visit and was in need of repair. Mr. Collier took care of that repair. It makes me proud to see the citizens of Quartzsite take special pride in the education system (preschool-high school) to assure that the students have the best opportunities offered by our community. Thank you to the Cushmans and Mr. Collier from all of us in the Little Scholars’ Preschool. Lisa DeHaven, Director A 20, 2011
