A���� 20, 2011 TOWN TRANSIT CHANGES Quartzsite Transit Service Changes Beginning Monday, April 18, the tran- sit service will have a new schedule: Mondays – Local service 1st & 3rd Tuesdays – Blythe** 2nd & 4th Tuesdays – Parker Wednesdays – Local service 1st & 3rd Wednesdays – Yuma** 2nd & 4th Wednesdays – Lake Havasu City Thursdays – Parker Fridays – Local service ** If there is a fi fth Tuesday or Wednes- day it will be decided at that time if an- other trip to Blythe/Parker or Yuma/ Lake Havasu route is needed. This new schedule is the result of a work session and a regular meeting of the Health and Development Services Municipal Board with valuable sug- gestions from the van passengers. To schedule a transit service please call Quartzsite Town Hall, between 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday, at 928-927-4333. Charles “Joe” Graham Charles “Joe” Graham, 83, born in Sheridan Wyoming April 27, 1927, passed away of a heart attack in Quartzsite, Arizona, April 12, 2011. Joe served his country in the US Navy during WW II. After his tour of duty he lived and worked in Easton, Washington area and retired from the Department of Highways. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and “Snowbirding” in Arizona. He always had a ready smile for everyone he met. He was a kind gentle soul, and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Joe is survived by his wife, Nancy Welch; daughter Karen Graham, Olympia; step-children Ron & Kar- en Welch, Puyallup; Donna Angel, Quartzsite & Prineville, OR; and Tom & Delores (Welch) Pearson, Shelton, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Dolly (Parrish) Graham , his fi rst wife, Peggy “Ann” (Keplar) Graham, and son, Galen. He and his wife, Lucy were involved with Isaiah 58 Proj- ect of Az. and active in the community. He was survived by 4 sons who live in Calif. and 5 Step children from various places. The Ruth Circle ladies make lap robes that are distributed locally to anyone in need of a comforting quilt, and some are also delivered to the Veteran’s Home in Prescott as a way of thanking those who have served our nation.
