Part of serving their customers means offering those good old-fashioned country meat market items that you won't find anywhere else, including deli items like headcheese and pickle and pimento loaf. Their best sellers are their seasoned burgers made from fresh-ground beef, including a Bison Burger from locally raised buffalo, and the classic bacon-wrapped tenderloin filet. Add to that quail, duck, gator tail meat, lamb and veal…and soup bones, for all your winter soups creations and maybe even for your furry friends! Plus, Richard's also lets you stock up and decrease your shopping trips by offering meat bundles ready for your freezer. "We've been selling a lot of our freezer bundles because people want to load up," owner Richard McGinnis said. "We have five different bundles to chose from: Variety Bundle, Steak Bundle, Smoker Bundle, Deluxe Bundle and Richard's special, plus a 40 lb. frozen pack of ground beef. The prices for the bundles vary week to week " Curbside service available Customers can come into the store but the market plans to continue to offer curbside service, a safer and great time- saving option. "Curbside isn't going away," Richard explained. "We've found that our customers really like the convenience. They can still come inside if they want to. But we also know that some of our customers would rather have the option." Customers can call to place an order ahead of time: 479-443-0000, and give their credit card. The order will be prepared and when the customer drives up, they call another number: 479-521- 1464, and their order will be brought out to them. Of course they can also order ahead to save time and come inside to pay when they arrive or come in and look through the case and select their meats like always. Food to go If you don't want to do all the work yourself, Richard's offers delicious frozen foods to go, like mouthwatering lasagna and manicottis. They also feature 12 varieties of homemade soups in quart containers in the freezer, including vegetable beef, chicken noodle, lobster bisque and their gumbos and homemade chili. The shop's homemade recipes use their premium cuts of beef, pork, chicken, lamb and veal to keep you coming back for more. Finally, you couldn't talk about Richard's Country Meat market without giving a nod to their homemade seasonings - some 15 or 20 varieties of seasonings including barbecue, steak rubs and more. And to top off a perfect meal, they offer mouthwatering pies, desserts and cookies too!
