Arrests LarryJohnBates:26, of Redding was arrested and booked into Tehama County Jail Friday on the felony charges of arrang- ing a meeting with a minor for purposes of lewd acts, contacting a minor with intent to commit sexual of- fence, furnishing minor with marijuana and possessing marijuana for sale. Bail was set at $90,000. John Perry Bush: 52, of Red Bluff was arrested and booked Friday on the charge of being in possession of a firearm and ammo when prohibited. No bail was set. Trevor Deleon: 19, of Red Bluff was arrested and booked Friday on the charge of receiving known stolen property of $400in value or more. No bail was set. Christopher Jerome Eischen: 29, of Red Bluff was arrested and booked Friday on the charge of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse. Bail was set at $65,000. Rachel Anne Casey: 22, of Red Bluff was arrested and booked Saturday on the charge of robbery. No bail was set. William Edward Langley: 60, of Red Bluff was ar- rested and booked Saturday on the charge of being in possession of a firearm as a felon. Bail was set at $33,450. Kenneth Jeffrey Stone: 27, of Red Bluff was arrested and booked Sunday on the charges of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, false impris- onment with violence and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse. Bail was set at $80,000. Burglary Wernmark Drive: It was re- ported Friday that sometime between Dec. 22, 2016and Jan. 4, someone entered a residence and stole a washer, dryer, air compres- sor and miscellaneous cloth- ing items. The estimated value of the items stolen was $1,050. Collision Interstate 5, south of Sunset Hill: It was reported at 7:35a.m. Saturday that Jannessa Ordona, 20, of Anderson, ran off the road due to snowy conditions. Ordona was driving south on I-5when she hydroplaned and ran off the road into an embankment. Her car then overturned. Her passenger, a 16-year-old boy from Ander- son, suffered neck pain and had cuts and scraps. He was sent to St. Elizabeth Com- munity Hospital. Ordona's 2000Toyota Camry had total roll-over damage. Badney Avenue, south of Ballard Road: At 5p.m. Sunday, Dillon Garcia, 23, of Paradise was driving south on Badney Avenue when he came up to a curve in the roadway and ran off the road into an embankment. The vehicle then hit a tree. The passenger, a 16-year-old minor, had suffered minor arm pain and was sent to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Garcia's 1994Honda Accord had major le side damage. Stolen 1400block of Johnson Street: Sometime between Saturday and Sunday a 1994Honda Civic was sto- len. On Monday the vehicle was recovered in Chico. Suspicious Spring Branch and Jelly's Ferry roads: It was re- ported at 12:12a.m. Friday a man in a red sweatshirt and red shoes fired several shots in the area and jumped into a white Ford F-150and le . He headed toward Balls Ferry Road. No one was reported injured. San Mateo Avenue, Ger- ber: It was reported Satur- day someone had siphoned gas out of a vehicle Thurs- day night. Latimers Pharmacy, Los Molinos: It was reported Sunday a person dressed in all black was attempting to break into the building. Reeds Creek Road: It was reported Sunday someone came onto a property Satur- day night and attempted to steal a trailer. Capay Road: A woman reported hearing multiple shots fired in the area be- hind her residence. The Modoc Court, Corning: It was reported Friday five five-gallon gas cans had been stolen from an open barn area sometime Friday. Rowles Road, Vina: A woman reported early Monday cash, a checkbook and other items from her residence were stolen. Solano Street: It was reported Friday the rear license plate from a Chevy Malibu, which was parked in an alleyway, was stolen. Vandalism Love's Truck Stop on South Avenue, Corning: The business reported a driver's side window was broken between 4p.m. and 6p.m. Friday. It was unknown if anything was missing. 99W, Corning: A man reported someone damaged his front door Sunday. Policelogs The Exchange Club of Red Bluff, in cooperation with the Soroptimist Inter- national of Red Bluff, will host the 11th annual Search for Talent for young people between the ages of 6 and 18. Youth of Tehama County are invited to brush up their acts and join the Search for Talent to be held the eve- ning of Saturday, Feb. 25 at Red Bluff's historic State Theatre. Roughly 20 acts will be invited to partici- pate in the gala show and competition. This event showcasing the talents of the youth of Tehama County has been getting bigger and bet- ter each year. Last year, 22 of Tehama County's fin- est competed. In the Pri- mary division, ages 6-10, the winner was Sophia Hackler; in the Junior di- vision, ages 10-14, the win- ner was Matilyn Szychulda; and in the Senior division, ages 13-18, the winner was the duo of Ashtin Lope- man and Mitchell Sauve. Flyers and entrance forms are being sent to all of the schools in the county to pro- mote the event. The dead- line for entering this year's competition is Wednesday, Jan. 25. Entry forms may be ob- tained from student's school, the Tehama County Schools Office on Lin- coln Street, Zelma's Tro- phy Shop, 206 Walnut St.; the Chamber of Com- merce office at 100 Main St. and at the Enjoy Store. CHP Explorers plan informational night on Wednesday The annual meeting of the chamber of commerce was held Tuesday night in the city hall. A large body of the citizens was pres- ent for the meeting be- cause of the fact that this meeting was the time set for the election of fifteen directors to carry on the work of the chamber for the coming year. The minutes of the last month's meeting was read, after which several letters bearing on things which the chamber had in hand were also read. One of the most im- portant things before the chamber was the continu- ation of the auto bus ser- vice to Gerber, Los Moli- nos and Tehama. In re- spect to this T. H.
