District Engineer (916) 791-1188 Review Period: April 6, 2016 to May 7, 2016 Project Description: The Los MoIinos Community Services District (LMCSD) pro- poses to construct a new groundwater supply well which would replace 3 existing wells at mobile home parks in Los Molinas, CA. The existing wells have tested positive for levels of arsenic above allowable Safe Drinking Water Act standards. In order to consolidate the water supply with the two mobile home parks, approximately 2,000 feet of water pipeline would be constructed along State Route 99E. Plans for the project include sections of di- rectional drilling In order to avoid potential impacts to Los Molinos Creek and State Route 99E. Mitigated Negative Declaration: In accordance with the Califor- nia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the CEQA Guide- lines, an IS/MND Is currently un- der public agency review through the State Clearing- house. State agency review will end on April 28th, 2016. Based on the Initial Study, it was deter- mined by the Los Molinos Com- munity Services District that with the implementation of pro- posed mitigation measures not- ed in the IS/MND, the project would not have any significant impacts on the environment. Public Comment Period: The 30 day Public comment peri- od is from April 6, 2016 to May 7, 2016. The public are hereby invited to review the proposed IS/MND and submit written comments. The IS/MND is available for re- view at the Tehama County li- brary (Los Molinos Branch), at 7881 State Highway 99E, Los Molinos, CA 96055 and at the LMCSD office located at 25162 Josephine Street, Los Molinos. The LMCSD will hold a public hearing to consider any com- ments on the project and CEQA document on May 11, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. The LMCSD Board of Di- rectors will consider state agen- cy and public comments during the hearing and determine if the document can be certified as meeting CEQA requirements. A mitigation monitoring and re- porting program will be consid- ered by the Board as part of the document certification process.
