PDQ Scotia Village - Norman Clingerman Troy University Our Rally Point The military uses a term called a "rally point." This term is defined as a place designated by the leader where the unit moves to reassemble and reorganize if it becomes dispersed. The leader designates rally points along the axis of advance towards the final mission objective. The Chamber recently set its own "rally point" on an axis towards a prosperous & resilient community. George Breece, Chairman of the Chamber, sets this rally point called the 2025 Task Force. The 2025 Task Force's goal was to study, evaluate, and make strategic recommendations on where and how the Chamber can reposition itself over the next 10 years to meet the needs of its members, the business community, and the broader community. This task force was led by Jack Rostetter, CEO of H&H Homes, and made up of members from the Chamber and individuals in the community. It laid out a plan for a transformation of the Chamber to become a catalyst in growing a healthy business community through advocacy of business friendly public policy, fostering of diverse innovative business initiatives through strong collaborative partnerships, and delivering valuable programs and services to its members. This plan was accepted by the Chamber in May of this year and the board leadership and members are already working toward successes in three major areas: restructuring the organization, engaging the membership base, and creating community impact.
