the Department of Cultural Resources.
There's an Art to Giving Back
Margarita Burke and Charlene Daly had a unique ally as they
battled cancer - "Artful Reflections"! This art therapy program
Cape Fear Valley's Cancer Center is funded by the Arts Council. Providing
comfort, strength and the empathy and camaraderie of fellow
participants, it helped Margarita and Charlene get through treatment
and become cancer survivors. Help us reach 500 members,
ONE who allows us to fund many programs that have a deep
lasting impact on people in our community, including cancer
at-risk youth, disabled residents and our homeless population.
