The alumnae chapter supports the four Missouri collegiate chapters through volunteering, care packages and donations. Sigma Sigma also is proud to support the women and children of domestic violence through contributions to Our Little Haven and Lydia's House. At Convention in July, Sigma Sigma was awarded the National Council Trophy for seeking the heights in all areas of alumnae chapter life, including chapter management and operations, recruitment and alumnae engagement. The chapter is dedicated to continuously recruiting members to the chapter and proactively recruiting alumnae initiates. The chapter initiated five alumnae last fall. Sisters continue to reach out to ensure they feel welcome. We want to welcome you, too, if you're in the St. Louis area! Join us for our monthly dinners and philanthropy projects. Upcoming special events include a holiday party on December 4 and Sigma Sigma's Centennial Celebration March 1. We support our local domestic violence shelter, Harmony House, in various ways throughout the year, including hosting dinners for residents, assembling goodie bags for children during holidays and raising money through different programming. We have a monthly Book Club, a bi-monthly coffee morning and other events throughout the year to bond with sisters. We are in a rebuilding season for our chapter, so we are always looking for sisters who would love to join us! If you'd like more information about joining TKT, please email us; we would love to help you get started.
