Brief history: Defendant was stopped at a vehicle inspection facility when a K-9 alerted on his vehicle. A search was conducted and officers located a large amount of cocaine hidden inside the vehicle. Sentenced to 5 years 8 months Local Prison. RBPD – People vs. Juan Carlos Arevalo, Possession of a Controlled Substance in Jail with Special Allegation Prior Strike. Brief history: Defendant was in custody at Salt Creek Conservation Camp when officers conducted a search of defendant's locker. Inside the locker officers located an altered soda can containing marijuana. Sentenced to 4 years State Prison. CHP – People vs. Kenneth Bruce Billings, Child Endangerment. Brief history: Defendant was observed driving a vehicle and swerving all over the road. When the officer located the defendant he was stopped on the side of the road. Upon contacting the defendant the officer observed the odor of alcohol emitting from defendant's breath as well as two minor children as passengers inside the vehicle. After failing the field sobriety tests defendant was taken into custody. Sentenced to 4 years State Prison. CPD - People vs. Roberto Junior Diaz, Unlawful Sexual Intercourse; Second Degree Commercial Burglary. Brief history: Defendant was originally granted formal probation on both cases. Defendant violated his probation when he tested positive for marijuana and alcohol. Sentenced to 3 years 8 months Local Prison. TCDA – People vs. Jason McKenzie Crabtree, Meeting Minor For Lewd Purposes. Brief history: An undercover officer posted an online advertisement posing as a 15 year old female. The defendant responded to this advertisement and agreed to meet with the 15 year old for sexual purposes. When the defendant arrived at the arranged location he was arrested and taken into custody. Sentenced to 2 years State Prison. RBPD - People vs. Don Tod Natho, Vandalism; Vandalism. Brief history: Defendant was originally granted formal probation. Defendant violated his probation when he tested positive for marijuana and methadone. Defendant also violated his probation when he committed the offense. Defendant was angry with the victim and punctured the tire on his vehicle. Sentenced to 2 years Local Prison. Recent County Jail Commitments: TCSO – People vs. John Jason Anton Haigh, Driving While Having a 0.08% or Higher Blood Alcohol-Three Prior Convictions; Corporal Injury to Former Co-Habitant. Brief history: Defendant was originally granted formal probation. Defendant violated his probation when he was found driving with a suspended license and when he committed the offense. Victim entered defendant's residence to obtain some items when the defendant awoke, grabbed the victim and threw her out the door onto the ground. Defen- Police reports Information has been provided by the Red Bluff and Corning police departments, Tehama County Sheriff's Department, California Highway Patrol, Red Bluff and Corning fire departments and CalFire. Arrests • Lynette Marie Demello, 29, Anderson was arrested at the Red Bluff Taco Bell for felony possession of a narcotic and misdemeanor obstruction and paraphernalia. Bail was $21,000. at a medical building on Solano Street. • A resident on Solano Street reported his garage door had graffiti on it, his mail was went through and someone scattered artificial flowers on his porch. • A car and house on Marin Street were tagged with graffiti. An officer made contact with the man, who explained he was trying to get his cat out from the engine compartment of the van. The cat was eventually removed. Brief history: Defendant was originally granted formal probation. Defendant violated his probation when he was found growing marijuana plants at his residence. Sentenced to 120 days county jail. RBPD – People vs. Tammy Ann Jeffers, Petty Theft With Priors. Brief history: Defendant entered a local business, grabbed several items and placed them in a bag. Defendant then proceeded to exit the store without paying for the items. Sentenced to 120 days county jail. TIDE – People vs. Chelci Erin Bosworth, Maintaining Place For Selling or Using Controlled Substance; Failure to Appear on Own Recognizance. Brief history: A search warrant was conducted at defendant's residence. Inside the residence officers located two individuals who were in possession of methamphetamine, a digital scale and syringes. Defendant was released from custody on her own recognizance and failed to appear in court as required. Sentenced to 117 days county jail. TIDE – People vs. Antonia Gonzalez, Possession of Concentrated Cannabis. Brief history: Officers served a search warrant on two properties and located several marijuana plants growing. Inside defendant's residence officers located a rifle and packaging material. Sentenced to 90 days county jail. TCPD – People vs. Thomas James Pittman, Post Release Community Supervision. Brief history: Defendant was released from prison to post release community supervision. Defendant violated his terms of supervision when he failed to keep in contact with probation, was found in possession of a knife with a three inch blade and admitted to smoking methamphetamine. Sentenced to 90 days county jail. TCSO - People vs. Curtis Lee Landingham, Possession of a Controlled Substance. Brief history: Defendant was originally granted formal probation. Defendant violated his probation when he tested positive for methamphetamine. Sentenced to 90 days county jail. CPD - People vs. Mario Anthony Albro, Possession of a Controlled Substance. Brief history: Defendant was originally granted formal probation. Defendant violated his probation when he tested positive for methamphetamine.
