The Red Bluff City Council has made the decision to fill the City Councilmember vacancy by appointment and encourages any interested residents to apply. This is an elected position and the appointment will expire November 2016, which is the remainder of the former incumbent's 4-year term. The formal term of office for a City Councilmember is 4-years. Compensation for this position is $1 per month and if desired, coverage may be provided under the City's health insurance plan for City employees.
