Perozzi was released from prison to post release community supervision. He violated his terms of supervision when he was found driving a vehicle with an expired driver's license and was found in possession of knives. • Chyna Marie Wall was sentenced to 180 days in Tehama County Jail for failure to appear while on bail with special allegationoffense while on bail or O.R.; possession of a controlled substance. Wall was released from custody on bail and failed to appear in court as required. She was originally granted formal probation. Wall violated her terms of probation when she failed to keep in contact with probation and was observed walking out of a store without paying for the items in her possession • Genet Suzanne Merrill was sentenced to 180 days in Tehama County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon. Merrill and victim had been in an argument which escalated when Merrill hit the victim on the hand with a metal pipe. • Robin Lynne Karbowski was sentenced to 120 days in Tehama Coun- as a 15-year-old girl. After several emails Duckworth arranged a time and place to meet the girl for sexual purposes. When Duckworth arrived at the arranged location he was taken into custody. • Hugo Martin Castaneda was sentenced to 90 days in Tehama County Jail for possession of marijuana for sale. Castaneda posted and online advertisement offering to sell marijuana. An undercover officer responded to the advertisement and arranged a place to make the purchase. W h e n Castaneda arrived at the arranged location he was arrested and taken into custody. Recent Proposition 36 Commitments Note: All cases wherein a defendant is sentenced per the terms of Proposition 36 are not at the request of the Tehama County District Attorney's Office. Per the requirements of Proposition 36, a defendant who possesses drugs cannot be sentenced to confinement time in jail or prison. Instead, the court must place defendant on probation and require drug treatment alone. Per the requirements of Proposition 36, only upon a third drug related probation violation may the court impose confinement time. Karbowski and victim were in an argument when the victim locked Karbowski out of the home. Karbowski proceeded to smash out one of the windows and regained entry into the home. She then grabbed a marble rolling pin and hit the victim over the head. • Edna Cheree Kelly was sentenced to 120 days in Tehama County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon. Kelly was staying at victim's residence when the victim observed Kelly starting small fires in his yard. When the victim attempted to put out the fires Kelly struck him with a burning wooden board. • Timothy Michael Robbins was sentenced to 120 days in Tehama County Jail for post release community supervision. Robbins was released from prison to post release community supervision. He violated his terms of supervision when he failed to complete community service, failed to keep in contact with probation, failed to complete a drug and alcohol treatment program and tested positive for marijuana and methamphetamine. • Thaddeus Troy Duckworth was sentenced to 120 days in Tehama County Jail for meeting minor for lewd purposes. During a search of the vehicle a deputy located psilocybin mushrooms. • Damien Dwayne Jones was sentenced to Prop. 36 probation for possession of a controlled substance with special allegation-prior felony. Jones was observed loitering behind a business. An officer contacted Jones and received consent to search his backpack. Inside the backpack the officer located a digital scale and methamphetamine. • Jacqueline Marie Ponciano was sentenced to Prop. 36 probation for possession of a controlled substance. Ponciano responded to the Red Bluff Police Department in regards to an unrelated matter. The officers were advised Ponciano had warrants for her arrest and she was taken into custody. During a search of Ponciano's person the officer located hydrocodone pills in her pocket.
