Last month, Expedia released their annual list
of top 25 "Best American Towns for Holiday
Shopping." Faye eville, the only North Carolina
town on the list, secured the 16th spot.
Expedia analyzed three million social media
men ons rela ng to conversa ons about local
shops and holiday markets to develop their
2017 list. From there, they extracted the most
"buzz-worthy" places for their annual list.
According to Expedia "Faye eville stood out
for such events as Holly Day Fair and a Dickens

land County has a Christmas event every day

Denton Ridge in Linden hosts Christmas Lights
at Denton Ridge each Friday and Saturday un l
December 30. Visitors take a tram to a quaint
village adjoining the Lower Li le River. Tickets
are $10 per person.
At Christmas in Paradise, visitors walk through
12 acres of Christmas lights and much more.
This free event, held at Paradise Acres, runs
every Thursday through Saturday night from
November 30 through December 23.
Visit Arne e Park in Faye eville from De-
cember 7 through 21 to take a ½-mile stroll
through a trail filled with sights and sounds of
the Christmas season. Christmas in the Park
also includes live entertainment and more.
Admission is $10 per family vehicle.
From December 9 through December 30 on
Thursday to Sunday, Cape Fear Botanical Gar-
den hosts Holiday Lights in the Garden. The
display is an illuminated mile-long pathway
with a synchronized show of music and lights.
Admission is $5 to $12 per person.
