e liberty we enjoy in this country came about because ordinary
citizens stood up against the big guys. ey gathered together to
read how others were doing the same. How did they do that? By
reading their local community paper. We, too, stand up against the
big guys to bring the best our community has to off er each issue.
Free community papers continue to connect us in ways other media
can't. We are free. We are available to everyone. We are local. Our
liberty depends on the freedom of the press. We will continue
working hard so that all our freedoms can be preserved.
