Do For You? I would like to express how I feel about the Rutherford Weekly newspaper. I have used their local weekly for many years and feel that it's the best value to my business both in coverage and value. The Shop Local campaign is best used by them for they have expanded to local areas outside of Rutherford County like Mill Spring, Sunnyview, Tryon, Chesnee and more, and that's where part of my new business comes from. Mike Marlow is very helpful, he and his staff are there to help you in any way they can. A 2x2 ad is just as important to them as the advertisers who run a full-page ad; Mike always wants to know "How can we help YOU!" Their size and circulation has expanded over the years but their customer service stays the same. Their news coverage is more upbeat, not like most newspapers that have all the bad news in them. We hear enough bad news through the T.V., radio and newspapers that you want to hear some good news sometimes. Milton Andrews, the reporter for Rutherford Weekly and Shelby Shopper & Info, is an asset to the paper. He seems to have endless energy, no matter what community event I attend he is always there whether it be a ball game, dance, car show, demolition derby, or any thing else, he covers the event and story from his heart. He, like all people with Rutherford Weekly are outstanding people. I would like to give them all a standing ovation for jobs well done.
