Arizona Western College (AWC) will be offering classes in Early Childhood Education (ECE) be- ginning this Spring semester. You can earn a certificate in Preschool Education right here at the AWC Quartzsite Learning Center (QLC). Our Spring semester begins the week of January 10th, 2011. See us now about registering for this program! Need help applying for financial aid? We’d be happy to provide guidance in that area as well, but don’t delay; deadlines are approaching. Participants in the ECE program must be working in a child care setting at least on a part-time basis (volunteer work is acceptable). Please see the attached flyer. The class will be in Parker at the Arizona Western College Tech. Center on 16th St. (across from Parker High School). Fire Chief Kevin Hess be instructing as well as re-certifying as an American Heart instructor that day as well, so he will also have an AHA affiliate there ob- serving the class.
