Writ- ten for television by Corey De- shon ("Daughter," 2022), the se- ries is directed by Seth Gordon ("The Lost City," 2022). Set in New York City in 1999, the series fol- lows the extraordinary story of one ordinary couple. As they come together and fall in love, they soon discover that their greatest obstacle to finding hap- piness together might just be themselves. Through it all, they navigate the treacherous land- scapes of their own minds as they work to overcome their memories, obsessions, fears, fantasies and histories for the sake of their relationship. Star- ring Mae Whitman ("Good Girls") and Carlos Valdes ("The Flash") as couple Lindsey and Miguel, the series also stars Ka- tie Finneran ("Why Women Kill"), Sophia Hammons ("Un- der Wraps," 2021), Andréa Burns ("West Side Story," 2021), John Hodgman ("Coraline," 2009), Scott Porter ("Ginny & Geor- gia"), Adam Kaplan ("The Big Leap"), Noah Robbins ("Un- breakable Kimmy Schmidt") and new talent Emilia Suárez. WHAT'S NEW ON PRIME VIDEO "Reggie" (2023) The new, original sports docu- mentary "Reggie," premiering Friday, March 24, on Prime Vid- eo, takes an intimate and reveal- ing look at the career and legacy of Major League Baseball Hall of Famer and activist Reggie Jack- son. A beloved New York icon and one of baseball's most influ- ential superstars, "Reggie" pro- vides a definitive, firsthand ac- count of the five-time World Se- ries champion's trailblazing fight for "dignity, respect and a seat at the table" as a Black ath- lete (per Prime Video). As the film looks at Jackson's life, from the beginning of his career in Birmingham, Alabama, at the height of the civil rights move- ment to his move to Oakland, California, during the rise of the Black Panther Party, to landing in New York City as the highest- paid player in baseball, Jackson sits down with fellow athletic legends Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Hank Aaron, Derek Jeter and more to discuss their own expe- riences, how far sports and soci- ety have really come, and the leagues they want to leave be- hind for future generations. Di- rected by documentary film- maker Alex Stapleton ("Pride"), "Reggie" comes from BRON Studios, Delirio Films and Red Crown Productions, in associa- tion with Creative Wealth Me- dia. First-time producer Kim Carsten, Aaron L Gilbert ("Lico- rice Pizza," 2021), Brenda Gilbert ("The Nightingale," 2018), Josh Miller ("The Pathway") and Zoe Morrison ("No One Saw a Thing") are executive produc- ers. While father Ben Campbell (Josh Braaten, "Ameri- can Horror Story") came in with high hopes for the old hotel property, his son, Griffin (Pres- ton Oliver, "This Is Us"), learns that his new house may be haunted by the spirit of a young girl named Savannah (Elle Gra- ham, "Swamp Thing"), who dis- appeared without a trace several decades prior. Befriending the curious and eager Harper (Ky- liegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep," 2019) in his class, Griffin and his new bud set out to solve the mystery of the missing girl, the haunted manor and the time- bending portal found on The Tremont's property.
