Join the Fayetteville Police Depart-
ment in their quarterly faith forum. The
Property Crime and Crime Prevention
Units will be featured at the forum. The
forum will take place at Village Baptist off 555 N. Reilly Road. Breakfast
will be provided, however registration is required. The event will start at

DR. E. E. SMITH OPEN HOUSE
FAYETTEVILLE HISTORY MUSEUM
The Fayetteville History Museum is
inviting the public to visit the historic
home of Dr. E.E. Smith to learn about
the life and legacy of Smith. Smith is
regarded as one of he great educators in Fayetteville and spent much
of his life in the classroom as a teacher or as an educator. The house is
located at 135 Blount Street near downtown Fayetteville. The open house
is free to the public from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m..

SYMPHONY ON TAP
DIRTY WHISKEY COCKTAIL BAR
Enjoy a variety of creative drinks at
Dirtbag Ale's cocktail bar, Dirty Whis-
key while enjoying a performance from
Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra's jazz
trio. Symphony on Tap is a new series with the goal to engage the commu-
nity through music and beer. Admission is free, but is 21+ only. Symphony
on Tap is supported by an Arts Council Mini Grant, Mary Flagg and Jim
Haugh. The performance will start at 7 p.m.
"FADELESS" ART EXHIBIT
CAPE FEAR STUDIOS
Cape Fear Studios' featured exhibit
highlighting the esoteric art of local
artist and art educator, Aurelis Lugo-
Barriera. The exhibit, "Fadeless" is
the story of nine Afro-Puerto Rican women who made history despite
the challenges they faced mainly because they are women and are of
African descent. With "Fadeless", Lugo-Barriera wants to recover these
stories and make them visible and educate future generations.
