There's not a lot blooming in the garden in
the fall, but there are plenty of treasures to be
found. You
can use them
to create cute
little forest
fairies.
Just collect
some pine
cones, acorns,
colorful
leaves, twigs
and other
bits from
your yard or
garden.
Then make your woodland people. It's easy!
If you want to get fancy, you can draw faces on
your fairies, and add little bits of cloth, colorful
yarn or even pipe cleaner wings.
Leave your fairies in a sheltered place outside,
or bring them inside and put them around the
house or on a windowsill. You can also string
them into a garland, glue them onto a twig
wreath or even make a fairy home in a shoebox
for them to live in.
Give them fairy names and make up stories
about them.
They're sure to brighten any gloomy winter
day!

whatever you find to create these magical little forest fairies.
