PNQ will provide the supplies; just bring yourself and your creativity. Sponsored by Starting June 8th D����� M�������� Police notifi ed to stay off private property The Quartzsite Police Department re- ceived a letter of notice on April 28, 2010, from Russell Sias, council candidate and manager of Crawford’s Trailer Park. In this letter, Mr. Sias puts the Quartz- site Police Department on notice that they are “to stay off the private property known as Crawford’s Trailer Park at 315 E. Main, Quartzsite.” He further threat- ens criminal prosecution for trespassing if the Police Dept. does not comply with his demand, other than “someone living within the park specifi cally chooses to call the Quartzsite Police Department for assistance.” Jeff Gilbert said, “The Quartzsite Police Department works very hard, especially during the summer months, to conduct pro-active patrols of the Town area in an effort to deter burglaries, drug dealings and other criminal activity.” “I would like all the other residents of the property, and the Town, to know that if they need police assistance, we will be there, aslo if we suspect criminal activity on the property or have any other lawful reason to be on the property.” Gilbert states, “Please be rest assured the Quartzsite Police Department is In response, Quartzsite Police Chief M�� 5, 2010 here to serve the entire community for law enforcement services, and that we will provide our service and protection without any bias to the residents.” Senior Center happenings Fridays at 10 am, we will be providing space for sewing, crafts and whatever your hobby is. We have donated mate- rial to make quilts for the children’s library and the crisis center, also cool collars for the troops. We will be doing this all summer so get out of the heat and join us on Friday mornings at the Quartzsite Senior Center. Join us for lunch Monday through Fri- cool air, we have daily WiFi, cards and numerous games available so get your group together and come on down. Cof- fee, tea and water is ready at all time. The Junky Junction Yard Sale will hap- pen every other month. The next Junky Junction will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 4-5 7am to 1 pm. Then on August 6-7 7am to 1 pm there will be more opportunities for sales. Painting rocks leading up to Rockin’ in Quartzsite will take place every Monday morning 9-11. Stay for our delicious lunch.
