The Lady Bulldogs fell victim to Hamilton in Saturday's Northern Section Division-V championship game as the Braves won their fifth straight championship 26-24, 25-13, 25-15. Reaching the Northern Section champi- onship earned Los Molinos a spot in the state playoffs, but while their season will be extend- ed for one more match they weren't dealt any favors when the CIF bracket was released. The Lady Bulldogs drew the Northern Cali- fornia top-seeded Branson Bulls out of Ross. But their offensive power doesn't stop there Jordan Winters and Michelle Pereira average more than two kills per set each and Grace Roberts-Burbank, Carrie Wentzel and McKen- na Becker average a kill per set. Gaby Sterner (9.7 assists per set) and Maddy Schoenberger (8.1 assists per set) have handled Branson's setter duties this season. Whitney Hansen is the defensive specialist.
