Tuesday, November 20, 2012 – Daily News Prevent fires, injuries during Thanksgiving With Thanksgiving just a few days away, the Tehama-Glenn Unit of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire) and the Tehama County Fire Department (TCFD) wants to warn residents about the many dangers the holiday can pose. festivities, and fun throughout the holiday season. But each year that joy is marred by tragedy when accidents and fires cause injuries and even death. To help reduce the chance of fire and injuries associated with holi- day cooking, follow these tips: •Never leave cooking food unattended.
