Chapter installs new officers Molino Star Chapter #83, Order of the Eastern Star, held its 129th Installation of Officers on Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Molino Masonic Center, Los Molinos. Those installed for the ensuing year were Worthy Matron, Janyce Mathis; Worthy Patron, Joe Gomez; Associate Matron, Barbara Hare; Associate Patron, Ned Kelly; Secretary, Carolyn Woods; Treasurer, Jon Mathis; Conductress, Marjorie Wilson; Associate Con- ductress, Robin Dvorkin; Chaplain, Angela Stone; Marshal, Stacy Dausse; Organist, Karen Skelton; Adah, Patricia DeFries; Ruth, Harriet Gomez; Esther, Marlene Mason; Martha, Kathleen Kelly; Electa, Montie Himes; Warder, Bill Wilson; Sentinel, Billy Himes. Colors for the event were black and white, which were carried out in the foyer, chapter room and dining room. Outgoing and incoming officers wore black and white attire. Following the installation ceremony, refreshments were served in the dining room to all in attendance. Add carrots to stockpot; continue sim- mering, covered, 30 min- utes or until beef and car- rots are fork-tender. Stir in peas; simmer 5 min- utes, or until tender. Serve. Total preparation and cooking time: 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Makes 6 servings.
