According to playoff points released Sunday, the Spartans (6-3, 2-3 Eastern Athletic League) are cur- rently in the fifth playoff spot, ahead of Shasta and behind Chico. The Spartans, which completed its season strong and were second in their league going into Monday's tournament, finished eight strokes behind second-place Chico, which scored a 570. "Wilcox is always kind of hit-and-miss," Red Bluff coach Elena Tomasetti said. "Seven strokes behind, I mean that's seven puts on real- ly hard greens."
