Kiwanis Students of the Semester Trivia Night The Central Tehama County Kiwanis Club will host its seventh annual Trivia Fun Night on March 27 at the Veterans Memorial Hall at 7980 Sherwood Blvd., Los Molinos. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the game begins at 6:30 p.m. It will be an evening of fun, brain-teasing questions, prizes and, of course, the prestige of becoming this year's trivia masters. Put together a team of eight players to sit at one table. Each table costs $80, usually divided amongst the play- ers. There will be eight rounds with 10 questions in each round. These are fun questions that won't bring back memories of final exams. Team members work together to find the answers. After each round, each table's answers will be gath- ered, judged and the correct answers will be announced. Team scores will be posted after each round. There will be a prize for each team member at the table with the evening's winning total score. Kiwanis provides soft drinks, cups and ice for each table. Players bring their own snacks such as chips, dips, shrimp, fondue, old family recipes or what ever they like. No alcohol or loud noise-makers will be allowed. There will be many items offered as raffle prizes. All of the proceedings of this event will support Central Tehama Kiwanis' many community activities such as scholarships, boys' and girls' basketball tournaments and student awards.
