THE BUZZ Jaime Jamgochian: Just What You're Looking For by STEVE TURLEY This week we are looking at some new worship songs that may soon be find- ing their way to a church near you. What's brand new from Paul Baloche? Baloche has written and recorded songs that we have been singing every Sunday for years like "Your Name," "Above All," and "Open the Eyes of My Heart." He now has a new worship cd, "The Same Love" and the title track is the current radio single. On a side-note, The Buzz would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Paul as he recently treated our local military families to a free worship concert at Pope Chapel. She is a great worship leader and speaker, and she has an awesome last name – she's Jaime Jamgochian! Jamgochian just released her newest single "Everything You Are" in April. She is also the speaker & worship leader for Modest is Hottest. Check her out on facebook and if you need someone to speak to your students (back-to- school or See You At The Pole) she may be just who you're looking for. What is Israel Houghton up to now? From 13 time Dove Award winner and 4 time Grammy Award winner Israel Houghton comes the brand new single "Your Presence is Heaven"! The song, from the upcoming release Jesus at the Center, is actually more like a studio recording than the live worship music we expect from Israel. Look to hear this one on Christian radio in mid-July! Feeling a little anxious? Travis Ryan's "Fearless" is a passionate song that speaks to fear, which is a major issue with all of us but especially women as they are twice as likely to have anxiety as men. A great song that is based on 1 John 4:18 "perfect love casts out all fear". Reuben Morgan and Hillsong of Australia have done it again! Churches in the United States have embraced many songs from this church on the other side of the world. Hillsong's latest worship offering is the uplifting "Hope of the World." The chorus reads: The hope of the world Lifted on high Calling us home with arms out wide To know You forever To love You forever You are our everything If you prefer the entire project, it can be found on the Cornerstone cd.
