Ingredients 1 pound beef top round steak or round tip steaks, cut 1/8 to inch thick cup prepared bal- samic vinaigrette Salt and pepper 4 individual prebaked pizza crusts, 4 ounces each, 7-inch diameter 1 package, 8 ounces, Mediterranean escarole and leaf lettuce salad blend or European salad blend cup chopped jarred roasted red peppers cup crumbled herb- seasoned feta cheese Directions Heat oven to 325 de- grees. Stack beef steaks; cut lengthwise in half, then cross wise into 1-inch wide strips. Heat 1 tablespoon vinaigrette in large non- stick skillet over medium- high heat until hot. Add of beef, stir-fry 1 min- ute or until outside surface of beef is no longer pin. Do not overcook. Remove from skillet with slotted spoon. Repeat with 1 tablespoon vinaigrette and remaining beef. Season with salt and pepper. Place pizza crusts on baking sheet. Heat in 325-degree oven 3 to 5 minutes or until warm. Meanwhile combine beef, salad greens, peppers, cheese and remaining vin- aigrette; toss to combine. Divide salad evenly among pizza crusts. Daniel Earl Torrence: 24, of Red Bluff was arrested and booked Monday on the charges of assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm or force caus- ing great bodily injury and vandalism. Bail was set at $45,000. Break-in 300block Kaer Avenue: A report of someone at- tempting to gain entry into a residence was made about 10:34p.m. Monday. A bicycle stop was made in connection with the incident during which one person was arrested for violation of a protective order. Fight South Main Street: Two men were reportedly fight- ing in front of Aquarium and Pets about 12:45p.m. Monday with one leaving northbound on South Main in a bronze Ford Ranger and the other walking toward CVS. The reporting party believed the fight was over one of the men having had his wallet and hat stolen by the other man. An area check was made, but no one was located. Fires Rancho Tehama: Fire trucks were still at the scene as of 11a.m. Tues- day of a structure fire that started just before 5p.m. Monday at the 15000 block of Collier Drive. The fire spread to vegetation near the structure and had burned 11acres. Robbery 200block Edith Av- enue: Two men report- edly robbed someone at the Spring Mountain Apartments about 3p.m. Monday. The suspects, described as one hav- ing a pony-tail and one with short hair, reportedly entered a residence, both in possession of a fire- arm. The men were last seen going north on Edith Avenue on foot. The victim was not injured. Suspicious Chestnut Avenue and Antelope Boulevard: A man reported that a man was in the parking lot of a thri store with a crow bar and another man chasing him. The man was hitting cars with the crow bar and it was reported he had broken windows of the cars he hit. One person was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. One youth was placed into child protec- tive custody. Orange Street: Prescrip- tion medication was stolen about 1:45p.m. Monday from a mailbox. Threat 800block Lakeside Drive: A woman reported a youth had made threats to her 11-year-old son that they were going to stab her. Vandalism 300block of South Main Street: It was reported by Tehama County Social Services that a fence was damaged sometime during the weekend. The sub- jects cut and damaged the fence that is estimated to be a loss of $150. 21000block Hatfield Road: A woman reported the tires of her boat trailer had been slashed and she had been threatened over the phone a er serving a three-day notice to her tenants.
