…and trust the magic of beginnings…
Welcome to the SigEp house, 5 Fraternity Row, Gainesville, Florida, where great memories were made and more are on the way.
Over 200 of you reading this special edition of the Gator Heart can smile today knowing that your loyalty and generosity have played a
major role in sharing in the magic of new beginnings—the renovation and revitalization of your Fraternity and your Fraternity home. You
helped make the new beginnings possible.
The plans have been drawn, the bid documents are being prepared, successful navigation through UF permit approvals is over, and within
the next several months the backhoes will start humming; some walls will come down and construction will begin on a "new" SigEp house.
From the entrance to the back patio, most everything except the zip code will be changed.
Under the guidance of Brett Ogilvie '86, months have been spent meeting with the architect; brainstorming with the building committee;
visiting other fraternity houses; and researching ideas for doors, windows, sleeping rooms, the kitchen, and every other aspect of
