p. 2 The DePauw Phi Los Angeles Rams Offensive Coordinator Rob Boras '92 Attributes Success to Fraternal Bonds B e open-minded. Find what you're passionate about in life and pursue it. For Rob Boras '92, Phi Delta Theta provided the opportunity to do just that. Before joining Indiana Zeta, Rob had the opportunity to connect with Phi Delt brothers on the field. "Football became an inherent part of who I was at an early age, and having the opportunity to develop inseparable bonds with brothers on the team enhanced my fraternal experiences that much more," he says. "These men treated me like family, and I wouldn't be where I am today without their guidance and encouragement." The unconditional support Rob received from his pledge father, Bill Bonaccorsi '90, Tyler Gilbreath '92, and the football team encouraged him to stay connected with the University after graduating, which led him to become the offensive line coach for DePauw's football team. "Of all the people who shaped my fraternal and collegiate experiences, head football coach Nick Mourouzis had the biggest impact on my personal and professional successes," Rob says. "Nick truly epitomized the motto, 'success breeds success,' and challenged me to go above and beyond what was expected. I cannot thank him enough for inspiring me to make a difference in the world of football." Rob gained important life lessons during his time in Indiana Zeta, many of which apply to his career in football. "I realized that a Fraternity is only as strong as its members, and Indiana Zeta continues to thrive because of members' commitment to recruiting young men who will carry on our legacy with pride," he says. "The same concept can be applied to football. The bonds formed among players are often critical to a team's success and throughout my years of coaching, this is something I continue to emphasize." Over the past 15 years, Rob has made a profound impact on the NFL. He served as the tight ends coach for the Chicago Bears and the Jacksonville Jaguars, and helped lead the Chicago Bears to Super Bowl XLI in 2007. Rob began his coaching career with the St. Louis Rams, now the Los Angeles Rams, in 2012 and was later appointed as the offensive coordinator for the team. Some of Rob's most cherished memories with the Rams are being promoted to offensive coordinator on December 7, 2015, with four games remaining in the season and securing a Doug Bannon Upper Arlington, Ohio Alex Bertolini Carmel, Ind.
