She is 34 weeks along with her daughter Kaycee and that little one is squishing every organ in her momma's belly. Her son Klayton, two years old, is about to learn the meaning of sharing his mommy and daddy in a way that he never has. The good news is that Tahnaya will be an excellent role model for sharing. This past week was my daughter Meaggan's prom and senior portrait photo shoot. As all young women do, Meaggan wanted to look as pretty as possible for her events. Tahnaya stepped right in and offered to help Meaggan. You see, Tahnaya has many gifts and one of those gifts is make up artistry. Tah- naya is one of the best make up artists I have ever seen. She under- stands the face and color and what will enhance your features and min- imize your flaws (not that my child has any flaws mind you, ha ha). Tahnaya has a gift and this weekend she shared it for no personal gain, just to be of value to someone else. On Saturday, Tahnaya came to our home to transform Meaggan into her vision for her prom. She lit- erally dropped everything and came over, fully pregnant and probably very tired from chasing a two-year old boy around. She listened to what Meaggan had to say about her "look" and the two talked about her photo shoot the next day. Meag- gan told her about the plans for the pictures and the types of jewelry she wanted to wear. Before you know it, Tahnaya offered to do Meaggan's make up for her photo's too. gan arrived for her make up and Tahnaya had spread out her personal collection of one-of-a-kind jewelry and told Meaggan she could wear any or all of it. It was truly unbelievable. We all had a great time getting Meaggan ready and when she met Danny and Dianne Rabalais from We Shoot Ya, Meaggan was primed and ready to get her photo's. What Tahnaya did for Meaggan is what Tahnaya does for every- one. She shares what she has, per- sonal and material. Tahnaya is selfless. Tahnaya is kind. Tahnaya goes out of her way for other peo- ple. Who better to role model sharing? I am blessed that she is in our lives. She is the type of person Sunday morning Meag- Bowen to speak Faydra Rector You Matter I want my children to see. A woman who is over- whelmed with pregnan- cy, a toddler and all the worries of a young mar- ried woman and yet she shares her time, talent and most prized posses- sions with others. Be like Tahnaya, role model for the world goodness, kindness and grace. mommy. Keep up the wonderful work, you are raising our future and from where I sit, you are doing a wonderful job.
