Slow cooker balsamic roast beef is from addap- inch.com. Slowcookerbalsamic roast beef 13-to4-poundboneless beef roast, chuck or round 1cup beef broth 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 1tablespoon Worcestrshire sauce 1tablespoon soy sauce 1tablespoon honey 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 4cloves garlic, chopped Instructions: Place roast beef into the insert of your slow cooker. In a 2cup measuring cup, mix together all remaining ingredients. Pour over beef and set the timer for slow cooker — 4 hours on high, or 6to 8hours on low. Once roast beef has cooked, remove from slow cooker with tongs into a serving dish. Break apart lightly with two forks and then ladle about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of gravy over roast beef. Store remaining gravy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for another use. Serves 6to 8. Preparation time: 5minutes Cooking time: 4to 8hours, depend- ing on heat. CHICO STATE Herbarium supporters plan annual meeting Tehama County Super- visor Candy Carlson, repre- senting District 2, has an- nounced a Town Hall meet- ing scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 in the Tus- can Room at the County Ad- ministration Building, 727 Oak St. in Red Bluff. Carlson is holding this meeting to provide an op- portunity for Tehama County residents, in an informal atmosphere, to share their issues and con- cerns and to learn about im- portant county topics. Topics to be discussed will include the recre- ational vehicle ordinance, the chicken ordinance, the county budget, the jail ex- pansion, water issues and other participant initiated topics. TEHAMA COUNTY Supervisor to hold town hall meeting The following informa- tion is compiled from Red Bluff Police Department, Red Bluff Fire, Tehama County Sheriff's Depart- ment, Corning Police De- partment, Corning Fire, Cal Fire and California High- way Patrol logs. Arrests AnthonyPaulDouglas: 35, of Red Bluff was arrested Monday and booked into Tehama County Jail on the felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon: not firearm or force: great bodily injury likely and a misde- meanor charge of obstruct- ing or resisting a peace officer. Bail was $33,000. A woman called 911about 7:45a.m. to report her boy- friend was throwing items around a Johnson Street residence. Sometime around noon, a woman on Johnson Street called to report her neighbor was throwing her boyfriend's items over into her yard and texting her to say that she can keep him. The reporting party was not sure what the incident was about, but reported being threatened. Tony J. Diaz: 35, of Corn- ing was arrested Friday in the 3500block of Rawson Road. He was booked on the felony charges of willful harm or injury to a child and inflicting corporal injury on spouse or cohabitant and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct: alcohol. Bail was not set. Brad F. Nicoll: 51, of Red Bluff was arrested Saturday in the area of Cedar and Monroe streets. He was booked on the charge of vio- lating a domestic violence restraining order. Bail was $5,000. Marion J. D'Avy III: was arrested Saturday. He was booked on the felony charge of prohibited person owning firearm. Bail was $15,000. Zachary D. Macdonald: 29, of Red Bluff was arrested Sunday in the 700block of Musick Avenue. He was booked on the felony charge of inflicting corporal injury. Bail was $50,000. Battery Union Street: Officer responded to the Red Bluff Union High School for the report of a fight between two male juveniles, ages 16and 17. Both juveniles resided in Red Bluff. No injuries were reported. One of the students was issued a citation for battery on school grounds. Break-in 14000block Rivercrest Lane: A man called about 9:45a.m. Sunday to report his wife had called him, whispering that there was a woman and two boys inside her residence and she was locked inside her bathroom. The woman called back about 10minutes later to report the man had ar- rived and had two people detained outside. Casandra L. Coon, 41, of Magalia was arrested and booked into jail on the felony charge of bur- glary and the misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance. No bail was set. Fire Jellys Ferry Road, cross of Penner Drive: A vehicle fire was reported around midnight Sunday. The road was not blocked, however, the eastbound lane was temporarily shut down. The involved vehicle was a 2001 BMW and reported as fully engulfed. Nothing further was available. Suspicious 23900block of Bray Avenue: A person reported Monday that there was bro- ken glass on the floor and clothes all around a vacant residence. Damage to the door was $300. Unknown suspects had a tran- sient camp in front of the residence but there were no suspects or leads. Covington Mill and River View roads: There were reports of reckless driv- ing in an area where school children are present. Chase Hookham, driving a 2014 dark gray Ford, was reported to be driving recklessly and had almost hit a woman and her child while they were walking. The suspects were advised of the complaint. 22700block Reno Avenue: A woman reported Monday people she had hired to work at her residence may have stolen jewelry a er finding them looking in her jewelry box. The woman said she would inventory the jewelry and call back if anything was missing. Trespass 22100block of Palermo Avenue: A woman reported Gena Renae Hurd, 42, had parked in front of her residence and was acting strange. On Monday, she showed up just before 5 p.m. and asked the woman to give her the oranges on the woman's property, referring to them as a cure. Deputies made an area check, but were unable to contact Hurd. They contact- ed her boyfriend, who said he would relay that she was not allowed on the property. Police logs Thankyou!
