Members participated in biggest splash, best belly flop and trick contests. The Red Bluff FFA Chapter Officers opened the meeting outside the school pool, their first meeting of the year. Attendees from all over California gather to learn and from mock gov- ernments from the city, county, state and federal levels. Attendees who run for office must write and give campaign speeches and wait for election results. A dinner to honor these students was hosted re- cently by the American Legion Mount Lassen Post 167 at the Red Bluff Veter- ans Hall. The guest speaker for the event was Cliff Curry who is a Boys State Alumni and principal of Los Molinos High School. The Resource Conservation District of Tehama County presented a lesson and activity on Oct. 7 for students to ex- plore elements of the natu- ral world and learn about the different habitat types in Tehama County.
