Parking Deck continued
During normal weekday business hours, the parking deck will also offer a great option to downtown employees and visitors, who might otherwise be forced to use two and three hour parking spaces during busy days. Automated pay stations, accessible on foot or by car, will be very similar to the existing pay lots in the downtown area with the same pricing ($0.50 per hour or $4 for all day). Spaces will be available for lease by the month for $50.
The deck will be free to park in on weeknights and weekends; citizens will still have to take a ticket at the gate to enter, but there will be no charge.
The structure includes several other purposeful and thoughtful features such as a brick façade that is similar to other downtown buildings, and two electric car charging stations in support of environmentally friendly drivers.
