Butte Street, Willows, California 95988, to determine whether the Dis- trict will elect to become a Groundwater Sustainability Agency ("GSA") for a portion of the Colusa Sub-Basin of the Sac- ramento Valley Groundwater Basin. The Board of Directors will consider formation of a joint GSA with Princeton-Codora- Glenn Irrigation District under the terms of a memorandum of understanding or a joint powers agreement. Subject to com- ments received in this hearing process, at present the District intends to manage those por- tions of the Basin within Glenn and Colusa Counties that (1) lie within the District's boundaries, (2) lie within the Princeton- Codora-Glenn Irrigation Dis- trict's boundaries; and (3) are adjacent to the areas described in (1) or (2) and are not present- ly in an active water, irrigation or reclamation district. At this time the District does not intend to manage any portions of the basin lying outside of Glenn or Colusa Counties. The District in- tends to cooperate and may ulti- mately join in a joint groundwater sustainability plan prepared with other groundwater sustainability agencies located in the vicinity of the District.
