Faydra Rector rallied to get people to help cover the deposit costs, and Vilche thanks the following for their help in getting the gym open: Faydra and Daniel Rector, Susan Olsen, Laura and Matt Nelson and Holly and Tony Beaven. Vilche used to own a boxing and kickboxing gym called Psycho's, from her fighting name. The new place is called Psycho Fit- ness and MMA, and instead of just boxing and kickbox- ing, it will feature MMA and lots of conditioning classes. The facility will allow Vilche to get her coaches in to help her and her fighters train for fights and she has developed her dream team. Good Morning, Red Bluff: This Thursday’s cham- ber networking event, will be 7:50-9 a.m at The State Theatre. You will be greet- ed by coffee, donuts and prizes. In addition to MMA classes, Vilche will be res- urrecting her kickboxing class that she used to teach for Shasta College and will be offering an MMA condi- tioning class. As always, these classes are open to everyone. The team of fitness instructors includes Richie Dean, Jessica Richards and Allison Marshall. They can take you to another level in getting you in shape. These folks make working out fun again and can adjust the workout to suit anyone. The open house is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30 and the gym is at 1450 Schwab St. in Red Bluff. The event will include showing two of Vilche’s fights, including the last one in Oklahoma, and the staff will be giving away class passes and provide some healthy refreshments. Bring your medications for disposal to the police depart- ment, 774 Third St. The service is free and anonymous. • E-Waste Collection – 8 a.m. to noon, at Corning Park and Ride, Solano and Third streets Saturday you can recy- cle your old electronics free of charge. They will take tele- visions, computer equipment, printers, microwave ovens, VCR and DVD players and other small electronic waste. • Car Show Registration Packet – A free opportunity to promote your business or event is available for the Car Show. There will be live DJ, dunk tank and more than 28 carnival games. Tickets will be available at the chamber as well as Lucero Olive Oil. All proceeds benefit Destination Tehama’s Branding Effort.
