Salt-n-Pepa Bring Flavor to Fayetteville
by SHANTE’ ELLIOTT Some Legends are coming to Town
“Oooh, baby, baby, baby, baby Oooh, baby, baby baby” may be the lyrics they are most known for, but their lives quickly changed in the ‘90s from being service center representa- tives to becoming the first female duo in the hip hop industry.
Since taking over the hip-hop industry and setting the standards for other female groups have followed, Salt-N-Peppa have recorded hits like “What a Man,” “Shoop,” “Let’s Talk About Sex” and their most famous song “Push it.”
On April 1, Fayetteville will get a taste of some old school hip hop
