Ribs, Rods and Rides – 2010 ITINERARY OF EVENTS Saturday, October 23: 6:45 am: Good time to arrive to watch balloons inflate and put up, weather permitting – Bring your camera! Possibility of some rides for sale to the public this morning. $200 per person, check in at the Balloon Sponsor/Chamber of Commerce check-in tent adja- cent to the launch area. 7:30 am: Hot air balloons launch from the north of the northwest parking lot. Bring your camera! Festival and Balloon sponsors take to the skies, weather permitting. Tethered Balloon rides start shortly after dawn, weather permitting: $25 per person. South parking lot. Classic cars and motorcycle show parking & registra- tion opens. 120+ classic cars are expected! 9:00 am: Classic car & motorcycle show opens. Southeast parking lot, adjacent to Chevron Station. 11:00 am: BBQ Ribs begin serving! South side of casino by the Ramada. $15 for all you can eat. Serving until 7:00 pm Band “Music by Proxy” begins to play, covered stage on South side of Casino. Visit the vendors in the Country Farmers Marketplace, in Carlino’s event center inside the Casino. 7:00-8:00 pm: “Balloon Glow” on the launch field. Several balloons fill up but do not launch, creating a spectacular visual show north of the Northwest parking lot. Another terrific photo op! Join us at Carlino’s Night Club inside the Casino from 8 pm to 1 am for more fun … enjoy the crowd, dance and sing along with the band “Rewind.” Sunday, October 24: 6:45 am: Balloons fly again at about 7:30 am, weather permitting.
