The challenges facing small businesses are immense in today's economic climate. Keeping up with changes in technology, securing the money needed to grow and even just finding customers are roadblocks to the success of these companies. With that in mind, the Chamber is launching the Center for Emerging Business to help businesses take advantage of every opportunity out there for them. The Center will introduce a number of different early initiatives to quickly start encouraging a strong and vibrant local economy. Potts, a nationally recognized small business and environmental advocate, has been instrumental in driving effective small business policy at local, state and national levels.
