This transformative project will ensure ΛXA's chapter house is the best on campus, providing a home for young men at Oregon State University. It will match the #1 fraternal life experience at OSU, that we already offer. As you know, AΛ of ΛXA welcomes young men into a servant-leadership community, cultivating lifelong bonds and personal growth opportunities. This timely and crucial investment positions the chapter for sustained success of our ΛXA brotherhood for decades to come in our 2nd century at OSU. Chad brings 30-plus years leading commercial, industrial and residential builds across Central Oregon and in the Willamette Valley. He's held senior roles in engineering, construction and land development. Further, he pairs this hands-on expertise with academic credentials: Both a B.S. & M.S. in Civil Engineering from OSU and an Executive MBA from Harvard University. Today, Chad serves as Owner's Representative for a major Bend, Oregon builder—overseeing land use, engineering, architectural design, construction management, budgeting, job costing and finance. He simultaneously manages multiple, highly complex projects – each of which is more complicated than our chapter house. Chad says: "My job is to keep all the plates spinning." We have a unique opportunity, given that we can build from the ground-up. This has allowed us to tailor our new chapter house to meet the needs of 21st-Century fraternal life. In contrast, most OSU fraternities have preservation restrictions as their chapter houses were built roughly 100 years ago. We have no preservation rules holding us back!
