3 THE ORACLE O n January 26, 2025, Alpha-Omicron conducted the Associate Ceremony, welcoming a new class of potential members. A total of 27 bids were extended, with 25 individuals accepting, bringing our on-campus chapter's enrollment to approximately 140 members. We are excited to begin fraternity education and integrate these new brothers into our chapter! JAMI BOWER NAMED AO HOUSE DIRECTOR At the joint board meetings of the AO Housing Corporation, Alumni Advisory Board, and AO Educational Foundation on December 7-8, 2024, Jami Bower was promoted to the position of AO House Director. Jami has served as AO's live-in advisor and chef since August 2023 and holds a SafeServ dietary certification from Indiana University. Before joining Lambda Chi, she spent eight years as a chef for various Greek houses and previously worked as an LPN at Bloomington Hospital, providing residential services for disabled individuals. In her new role, Jami will support food preparation and housekeeping staff, manage vendor relations, order food and supplies, and coordinate house maintenance and repair services. Known for her outstanding meals and along with long time AO brother, Ron Byrd, maintaining a well-kept house, Jami has earned a strong reputation among our undergraduate brothers and across campus. We are thrilled to have her step into this expanded leadership role. FACILITY UPDATES During the same meetings, the alumni boards met alongside the undergraduate chapter officers, who advocated for several facility upgrades, including: • New TVs for the pool room, dining room, and informal lounge. • New chairs for the conference rooms. • Weatherproof outdoor furniture. • A rebuilt pool table. The Housing Corporation approved all requests, and the upgrades were completed over winter break. These improvements reflect our continued commitment to enhancing the chapter house—your home at IU. We hope to see you there soon. In ZAX, Carter Gutt '26, High Alpha Our Home Grows Alongside Our Chapter In Good Hands Initiation night for our newest members. Welcome to Lambda Chi Alpha!
