SIGMA CHI FRATERNITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA | EST. 1876 SPRING 2025 I ota Iota Chapter of Sigma Chi continues to uphold the fraternity's core values, with a strong emphasis on learning, service, and brotherhood. Demonstrating academic excellence, the chapter achieved a collective GPA of 3.19 in fall 2024! Philanthropy also remains a top priority for the chapter. Under the leadership of Samuel Redelsheimer '27, we are aiming to raise $50,000 and provide members with over 100 service hours in the coming year. Our members continue to excel across campus. Consul Connor Hux '26 was recently elected director of alumni relations for the Society of Operations Management Students. Pro Consul Eric Nielson '26 was reelected to the Interfraternity Council as director of public relations, while Annotator Will Dyer '26 was appointed events coordinator for the B+ Executive Council. Quaestor Vincent Klueppel '26 was elected president of the Capstone Scholars of Engineering, Brother Jacob Schurman '25 serves as president of the Capstone Real Estate Society, and Garrett Walker '28 was selected for the IFC Public Relations Committee. Within the fraternity, our newly elected executive officers recently attended the Northern and Southern Alabama Provinces Conference in Mobile, Alabama. This event provided an opportunity to connect with brothers from other chapters, exchange ideas, and strengthen our leadership skills. Seven officers, including the consul, annotator, quaestor, kustos, recruitment chairman, magister, and philanthropy chairman, represented our chapter. The experience set the foundation for a successful year ahead, reinforcing our commitment to growth, brotherhood, and leadership. Iota Iota continues to thrive, demonstrating excellence in academics, service, leadership, and brotherhood. Through philanthropy, campus involvement, and a strong commitment to honoring those we have lost, our chapter remains a testament to the values of Sigma Chi.
