Marl Cummings III '75 is retired and resides
in Fairhope, Ala., where he enjoys hunting,
fishing, gardening, and playing bagpipes. He
is also a board member of the Constantine
Housing Initiative. He fondly recalls the
friendships he made and the leadership and
service opportunities he experienced in Iota
Iota. His favorite memories include band
parties after football games, evening meals,
chapter meetings, and pledge swaps.

David Maxwell '76 lives in Tuscaloosa and is
involved with OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute) at UA. "There are 125 groups across
the country affiliated with various colleges,
so look one up near you or join us online!" he
encouraged. He was blessed with two more
grandchildren in the summer of 2024 and
has another on the way. David attended the
presentation of the Order of Constantine to Marl

John R. Capps '85 and his husband, John
Riedel, moved to Providence, R.I, in April
2024, leaving the south for beautiful New
England. John also retired last year.

Lee Brooks '19 graduated from law school
in 2022 and passed the Bar in Florida. He has
worked as an in-house counsel for two years at
a cybersecurity company. Lee has a daughter,
Anna Catherine, and resides in Belle Isle, Fla.,

Patrick Carroll '22 moved to Nashville after
graduation to begin his career as a creative
content director in the music industry. Patrick
has worked with artists Ben Burgess, Gary
LeVox, and Sam Barber. He is currently
working with Larry Fleet, and they just
completed their first European tour. He recently
became engaged to Allison Ramirez, an Alpha
Chi Omega and Sigma Chi sweetheart. They
are planning a wedding for fall 2025.
