T
he Balanced Man Scholarship
process was a key component for
locating and recruiting this trailblazing
group of brothers.
We had 250 BMS applicants. They were
all screened, and our expansion managers
interviewed most. We also identified
potential new members from other campus
organizations and through referrals from
our new brothers.
The BMS Banquet was well attended,
and the caliber of the applicants was
outstanding. We awarded $5,000 total in
scholarships to six stellar men. After an
inspirational speech by SigEp National
Director David Calderón, California Mu '88,
the chapter added additional members
that night.
