Throughout this spring semester, we look forward to initiating our spring continuous open bidding members, hosting our annual Moonball philanthropy for Girls on the Run, participating in a campus-wide service project, and attending a variety of chapter events. From all the members at Pi Chapter, thank you for the love and support you continuously provide. We are immensely grateful to have active alumnae who model what lifelong membership in Gamma Phi Beta means. She's taking every opportunity to be outdoors, especially walking and hiking in groups. Marilyn enjoys all of North Carolina's interesting places to visit, from the mountains to the coast. She lives in Pinehurst, N.C. Email: marfitznc@gmail.com Diane Christensen Hough '60 shares that her fabulous book club has been together for 45 years. She says that it's a gift to share great literature and friendship. Diane has served on a behavioral health and developmental disability board for 32 years. Joan has downsized and enjoys bridge, book club, and seeing friends. She sends love to all her sisters. She volunteers as a docent at the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, Neb., where she lives. The museum contains the largest collection of quilts in the world. Pat is the housemother with Alpha Gamma Sigma Fraternity at UNL, which moved into a new house at 3455 Holdrege St. in August 2021. She's excited for Alpha Gamma Sigma! She lives in Rome, Ga., and enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren who live nearby. Her husband, John, is still a practicing oral surgeon. Email: barbbeninato@gmail.com Tammy Larson Miller '78 retired as the director of the Elk Grove Park District and is now working part time with That's Caring, a gift basket company that donates to Feeding America Food Banks. She is passionate about volunteering with the KC Ballet, which she has been doing for more than 20 years! Their daughter, Kaitlyn, is a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University. Her daughters, Kennedy '16 and Corbyn '17, completed their undergraduate degrees in May. Nicki works for CHI Health, coordinating a network of faith community nurses and health ministers across Nebraska and Western Iowa. Nicki and her husband, Doug, live in Gretna with their dog, Molly. The firm is always looking for new talent in architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, interior design, and marketing. She lives in Lincoln, Neb.
