2A Daily News – Saturday, June 29, 2013 Community people&events Wine release party A release party of Tehama Oaks Winery's 2011 State Theatre Marquee Syrah is scheduled for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at The Winery, 14494 Warren Ave. in Red Bluff. The event will include live entertainment and paired appetizers and all of the proceeds from sales will benefit the theater. Senior menu The Senior Nutrition Program serves meals Monday through Friday at the Red Bluff Community-Senior Center, the Corning Senior Center and the Los Molinos Veterans Hall. The suggested donation for seniors 60 and older is $2.75. For those guests under the age of 60, the guest charge is $7. A donation is not a requirement for you to receive a meal if you qualify for the program. Reservations must be made a minimum of one day in advance by calling 527-2414. Two percent milk is served with each meal. Menu is subject to change. It has been said that lifetime growth is much more than a classroom issue. Its boundaries spread far beyond academe. Lifetime growth is inextricably intertwined with the idea of vital curiosity. The fact is that we must acknowledge that "school smarT isn't the only kind ofsmarf; there are many "gifted" children who don't score high on pencil-and-paper tests. Most children have a natural talent in one or more areas. Research shows that each one can do something better than 10,000 other people if their talent is discovered and developed.
